Curiosity to Creativity Symposium

We invite all undergraduates on the Norman campus, whether you are an OU student working on your own project or have a former project, to come present the research and creative projects they are working on.

OU's 2nd Annual C2C Spring Sympoisum hosted by the O.U.R.

Location: Beaird Lounge, OU Memorial Union

Date: Wednesday April 25, 2018

Time: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (tentative)

You can find the application form for this event here. All applications need to be submitted no later than July 17, 2017 at 11:59pm.

The Office of Undergraduate Research (O.U.R.) is dedicated to empowering and promoting the curiosity-driven discoveries, innovations, and creative works of OU students and their mentors! To showcase OU’s excellent undergraduate research and creative projects, O.U.R. sponsors campus-wide celebrations during the Spring and Summer semesters.

We invite all undergraduate students with research work to submit an abstract or proposal for consideration. Presentations will be in the form of a poster, project display, or three-minute performance. The Symposiums are open to the public. Individual students may submit their project information here.

We encourage students engaged in course-based projects to present. In that case, we request that the faculty member instructing the course email undergraduateresearch@ou.edu with 1) class name, 2) course number (e.g. XXXX 1234), 3) number and type of presentations (e.g. 30 posters), and 4) a preferred time if you have one.

Faculty, does your department have their own undergraduate research symposium? We would like to promote your event as well through the Symposium publicity. To get your event included, please email us the details at undergraduateresearch@ou.edu.

The 2nd Annual Curiosity to Creativity Summer Symposium will be held on July 27th in the Stephenson Research and Technology Center atrium. Submit your presentaiton requests no later than July 17th!
